While modern-technology taxidermist make a mold of a fish verses a skin mount, along with the restrictions the State has put on keeping the Silver King, lower Tampa Bay & Sarasota Bay have been producing Boca Grande size and numbers of Tarpon. While using a spinning reel and 25lb test line, we will slowly work our way down the beaches searching for their massive pods.
