FISHING CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT HELD NOVEMBER 17-21, 1999 AT

BAHIA BEACH ISLAND RESORT MARINA, RUSKIN, FLORIDA.

GENERAL CATEGORY

The Saltwater Fishing Team led by Capt. Shawn Crawford, Capt. Matt Ercoli and Sandi Adams with 145.50" winning the first place prize valued at over $24,000, narrowlly edged out the Megalops team with Capt. Mark Rankin, John Yingling and Louis Garcia with a total of 145.25". Each team had a double slam catching three fish each day in an extremely close competion. Ernie Rubio on Megabite caught the largest snook of 32.25", Frank Heeter aboard Wrench'Em In caught the largest redfish at 32.50" and teammate Jim Stanek caught the largest trout at 26.25".
